The International Children’s Festival is the Premier International Arts Education Experience in the United States. Since 1971, the Festival has brought hundreds of thousands of area children and their families to Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts to experience new cultures and learn about the significance of the arts in our lives, our community, and throughout the world.

TAP KIDS Return!
Our Headliner
The Arts Council of Fairfax County is proud to announce the return this year of the 2007 International Children’s Festival’s smash hit group, TAP KIDS. In a series of musical vignettes, TAP KIDS tells the story of a group of high-school kids facing challenges both mundane and momentous as they prepare for the big school dance and, ultimately, for graduation at the end of their senior year. The performers range in age from 18 to 22 years old and add their own unique improvisations to the scripted choreography.
TAP KIDS Are Back!
Featuring the tap sensation TAP KIDS as the 2009 headliner along with international groups from Georgia, Serbia, and Spain.
